Kostas Dios was born in Siatista, Kozani (Greece) in 1959. He started his studies at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris in 1978 and graduated in 1983. Initially, he worked under the tuition of the sculptor César and later under the tuition of the painter Olivier Debré. He lives in Kozani since 1991 and works as a high school teacher.
